Dario Pastore created VENATOUR hunting tourist agency in 1988, offering classical hunting destinations like Yugoslavia, Scotland and Ireland that he had known very well as a hunter himself since the early 1960's. Since 1991 Mrs. Velimira Kostova has always assisted him as an interpreter as well as a connoisseur of Eastern European countries.

In 1996, having estimated the important hunting potential of the Crimean Peninsula, Mr. Pastore suggested to the KRYMLES forestry organization a financing without interest of about 1 billion Italian Lire (US$ 500 000), thanks to what have been erected the hunters' houses in Bakhtchissaray, Stary Krym and Simferopol, the latter not yet achieved.
The tourist hunters' product “Woodcock in Crimea” is a fruit of Mr. Pastore's long hunting and entrepreneurial experience that has been very well appreciated and adopted by the forestry guards of the Krymles.
This is a fruit of the love for nature and hunting combined with the desire and the sacrifices of a population willing to see their present and their future brighter.
